This week was a lot better than last week! We should be having a baptism this Saturday his name is Kevin. We have another baptism scheduled for the 27th his name is Hans.
On my birthday July 4th we're trying to plan a wedding and another baptism so things are really looking up. The guys name is Juan for the 4th and he's living with a girl that's a member so they need to get married before he can get baptized. We've already became great friends even though he's pretty crazy but he's super funny.
We've been having a lot of less actives come back to church lately and yesterday 230 came to church which was a new record! This month should really be a good one with a couple baptisms and some less actives rescued.
The dedication of the new temple in Trujillo is in like 2 weeks and we get to watch the transmission so that should be a cool experience.
Everything is going great here! Love and miss you all tons have a good week!

This week was awesome! Everything went super well with the baptism of Kevi! and Yes
it's Kevi not Kevin.. haha I know it's a little weird, but his baptism was awesome and
everything turned out great!
We also rescued two less actives and now they're coming to church again.
This week a general authority visited our stake conference Elder Calderon from Peru
and it was awesome getting to listen to him. Saturday we had two sessions and yesterday
was the final one. It was a really good stake conference. We had so many people come
it was insane!
This Sunday is the temple dedication for the temple in Trujillo so it
should be another good special week.
Also, this week are the transfers, I highly doubt I'll get transferred and I really hope not
because I'm really happy here, but the rest of the zone should be having a lot of transfers
so we'll be super busy this week figuring all that stuff out.
Everything is going great in our own area and I'm super happy here in my area!
I love and miss you all tons and hope yall have a great week!

Well this week was very crazy and stressfull for me. I ended up getting transferred
which I wasn't prepared for at all and didn't think that I was going to be transferred.
I came back to the same zone where I just was 3 months ago as a zone leader in
Amarilis with Elder Moraga from Nicaragua.
I was honestly really upset and angry with my transfer because I really didn't want to
leave my last area I was happy there and wanted to finish my mission there.
I didn't understand my transfer and was confused and that is what was the most
annoying thing. So I was really angry about it until I talked to one of the assistants
who made me feel a lot better about my transfer.
They sent me here to try and fix some things because the zone is really bad right
now we don't have very many obedient missionaries or much hard work going on.
I've been here only since Wednesday night and I've already had to make a lot of
changes in the zone. So hopefully things will start getting better soon.
I learned a valuable lesson this week. I know that our attitude really does change
everything, and I needed to repent for having such a bad attitude about my transfer.
I found a scripture that really helped me change my attitude and get through this
week. In Philippians 2:14-15
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke,
in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in
the world;
I know whining and complaining doesn't ever help anything. I tell a lot of "investigadors while teaching that my dad always says that two things aren't allowed in our house. 1. Excuses. 2. Complaints.
I forget that valuable lesson for a little bit this week, but it's totally true. We are free to choose our own happiness or sadness. People think that they can't choose to be happy, but it's a lie. Its up to us and only us if we are happy or if we aren't.
I love and miss you all tons and hope yall have a good week.

Well this week went by super fast and was hectic but great at the same time. We had P Day in Ambo last week, my old area, and I got to see Percy and some members that are my friends there so that was pretty cool! We had a good time.
We had a special zone meeting with President Henderson on Wednesday, and then on Friday we had a multi-zone conference with Elder Waddell from the 70 and it was super cool getting to listen to him.
The conference was going to be from 3 to 8 but he got there late and we didn't start until 4 and at 8 we had a special meeting with him and all the zone leaders. So that was pretty cool getting to talk with him more one on one. We was super poweful when he spoke and I learned a lot of really cool things from him.
We had 4 investigadores come to church yesterday which was awesome. We're teaching 3 brothers whose dad died a few years ago, and they really like hearing everything we have to teach. So we're going to be working a lot with them and helping them understand the plan of salvation more so they can be more at ease with the death of their dad.
Our area is super small, and is pure hills. Every lesson we go to we have to climb up a huge set of stairs, just to go back down and climb up another set for the next appointment... haha It's a pretty tough area, less than 100 come to church, but we have a few good investigadores so hopefully things will be getting better soon.
Love and miss yall tons have a good week!
